Rachel Teribury, DVMDr. Rachel Teribury joined Lewis Veterinary Clinic in May 2007. She comes to us with vast knowledge of not only small companion animals, but also large animals. Dr. Teribury received her undergraduate degree from Lycoming College, and, in 2003, she received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University.

 

 

Dr. Shannon Layne, DVM, DVA with dog TessaDr. Shannon Layne grew up in the Raleigh area of North Carolina and has had pets all her life. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. She continued straight into vet school at the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May of 2010 after following both a small and large animal curriculum.

Dr. Layne has spent eight years practicing in several different hospitals to gain the most amount of varied mentorship as possible. She has practiced in both large and small animal hospitals, and has a special interest in holistic medicine. Dr. Layne believes in combining the “best of both worlds” and uses both conventional and holistic medicine to provide the best quality care for every animal.
